Project 6-Research and Emulation
This project was designed to understand and interpret photos taken by other photographers and take a photo and make it look similar to the other photographer. The photographer that I chose: Cody Bratt takes photos of landscapes throughout America.
its a little overexposed, and you haven't really emulated the color of the original photo. You might have wanted to flip the photo so that it better matches the original photo, as well as found something in scottsdale with a sign. Taking a photo during the day like you did in scottsdale will leave you with a flat light, not the varied colors that you get in the photo you were trying to emulate that was taken during "golden hour." Waiting till sunset or get up at sunrise will give you great light.
