Project 3 - Final Color Grids and Photos

Image
For our third project, we worked on different types of color terms; cool or cold colors such as deep blue hues to warm or hot colors such as red. In this process, we imported photos into Lightroom, cropped and edited photos, comparing and contrasting different types of photography. The first four grids were photos that were edited in Lightroom and then edited a second time to look like they are in a grid. The last two photos were photos that I took and edited them by changing the exposure amount, highlight, and light and dark contrast. Grids: A grid of Building in Downtown Portland Cherry Tomatoes, Peppers and basil at Farmer's Market Peppers at Farmer's Market. Edited Photos: Squash Raspberries Kaleidoscope: Blueberries and Strawberries Chili Peppers and rutabagas A Sandstone building with plants inside of crevaces

Project 2: Framing and Composition

Image
In this project we worked on finding eight types of photos: Rule of Thirds, Frame within a Frame, Close Up, Bird's Eye View, Bug's Eye View, Leading lines, Diagonals and Filling the Frame. These composition techniques are displayed above with different photos that I have taken. I edited eight of the photos, one from each composition and edited them, taking aspects of the photo and changing them.

Project 1: Elements and Principle Poster

Image
This project; Principles and Elements of Art is based types of different types of photography that appear in the real world. We were sup posed to take photos from around Lincoln and compare photos that we took to photos from Pinterest that had these elements and principles. The difference between Principles and Elements is the fact that the elements are the fundamentals of a piece of artwork and the principles are how the fundamentals are seen on the piece of artwork. You could have an element in artwork, for example, a line, but without balance or pattern, a photo would only be a line. As I worked on this project, I learned to look closer at the photos that I take, and be able to identify what is going into photos.

My Summer

My Summer The best memory I have from this summer is my many many hours spent on a golf course, whether it was spent hitting golf balls on turf mats and grass mats or playing more than 180 holes of golf over three months. I also dropped my handicap (average strokes above even), by about 10 strokes, so I had a very successful and fun summer. This close to hitting my first hole in one
